Heineman Video Gallery YouTube Channel
April 27, 2008
We’ve recently set up a channel on YouTube so that we can share some of the videos on the full service for free. There are four videos uploaded at the moment, which give a good cross-section of the quality and breadth available.
One of my favourites is this moving portrait of a First World War veteran returning to Paschendale. Harry Patch, 109 years old, returns to Flanders overlooking Paschendale where he fought aged 19, he describes the mud at Langemarck, his war medals, and photographs of the battlefield.
